2015 - 2016 Update
LLTU’s three TIC schools received their shipments of brook trout eggs from the PA Fish & Boat Commission during the week of November 1, 2015.
Each of our three schools has successfully raised most of those eggs to become healthy fingerling brook trout.
Willow Lane school's 231 eggs grew into 148 fingerlings that were released on June 8, 2016.
Seven Generations school released over 100 fingerlings on May 19, 2016.
St. John Vianney Regional School released their 58 fingerlings into Cedar Creek in Allentown on April 27, 2016
LLTU is looking forward to working with the students and teachers at these three TIC schools again next year to train more classes of aspiring fishery biologists.
